Code Of Conduct
Tech Differently is a community-centered event. We’re committed to making this conference welcoming, safe, and productive for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience level.
Be respectful: Treat all participants, speakers, and organizers with kindness. Disagreement is fine, disrespect is not. Listen actively and assume good faith.
Be inclusive: Welcome people of all backgrounds, skill levels, and perspectives. Avoid language or behavior that excludes or demeans others.
Keep it clean: Please avoid profanity, explicit material, or graphic examples. We aim for a space that’s comfortable and accessible for a general audience.
Keep it professional: Harassment, hate speech, spam, or self-promotion outside designated spaces will not be tolerated in any chat, Q&A, or networking area.
Respect privacy: Do not record, screenshot, or share others’ contributions without permission. What’s shared in private channels stays there.
Stay on topic: Keep conversations in the right spaces. Use designated channels for questions, discussion, and networking so everyone can follow along.
Reporting a concern: If you experience or witness a violation, please contact the organizer, Jill Binder, directly. All reports are handled confidentially. Participants asked to stop harmful behavior are expected to comply immediately.
By attending our event, you agree to this code of conduct. Violations may result in removal from the event at the discretion of the organizers.
